You’re always, always, always going to be on your way to something more – always. And when you relax and accept that, and stop beating up on yourself for not being someplace that you’re not, and instead, start embracing where you are while you keep your eye on where you’re going – now life becomes really, really, really fun. (Quote from Abraham-Hicks).
I love this quote, as I do many from Abraham-Hicks. So many of us want to be better at what we do, further along in life, more enlightened etc, etc. Because we aren’t where we want to be right now we feel less-than. I think that if we can remember that one line “you are always going to be on your way to something more” and realise that’s a permanent state, we will be much happier. Its like change – change is the only constant in life. Life is always changing so being in a state of resistance to that is pointless. Never being exactly where we want to be for long is a constant in life also. Embrace the journey and not the destination. The more I remind myself of that the happier I am.
