Is life about the journey or the destination and why?

I often get inspiration and guidance on how to live my life and make a difference from others. One of my favourite  ‘teachers’ is Abraham / Esther Hicks. This little quote really made me think today.  People say, “The joy is in the journey,” but they rarely understand what they are saying. You are in this focused time/space reality with goals and objectives that call you because as you identify a desire it literally summons life through you. Life summoning through you is what it’s all about, not the completion of anything.”  It made me feel better that life wasn’t about the completion of anything (because some things take a lot longer to complete than we had hoped) but the life summoning through us as we take the journey. The question to ask ourselves is “how can I make a difference with what flows through me and from me in this ordinary day today?
