Earthquake Trauma

In my hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand we've recently had two large and destructive earthquakes.

Many people suffering trauma from these earthquakes may not even realise that they are traumatised.  The symptoms can be as general as anxiety, inability to sleep, being impatient or irritable with people, general feelings of stress, inability to make decisions, etc.  One of the major misconceptions of trauma is that it will 'go away' on its own.  This is not the case.  Trauma can stay with you your whole life if not addressed and can change your personality and your life.  If you are unsure whether your symptoms are a "normal" reaction to a disaster, or if they are trauma that needs addressing please feel free to call me for a no-obligation chat.

If you know friends or family that have left Christchurch please ensure they get help if they need it.  I work nationally and internatinally via telephone or Skype/webcam so location is no barrier.

Assistance is available to businesses who have staff that are emotionally affected.  An employee who is suffering emotionally is not a productive employee.
